On Tuesday, January 12th, a catastrophic earthquake, measuring a 7.0 on the Richter scale, struck Haiti, destroying thousands of buildings. The international Red Cross is estimating that about 3 million people have been affected and about 45,000-50,000 were killed.
Our schools in Kenskoff have been destroyed and we are evaluating the damages which may have caused many casualities. C.O.H.E.F has worked in Kenskoff, Haiti for over 15 years and will continue to serve the children and parents. We are asking you to contribute to the efforts being put forth to the aid and relief necessary in Haiti.
